Hustle Trend: Intimate Connections

Hustle Trend: Intimate Connections

Today’s Go Getters have less tolerance for Bullshit than the “Networkers” 80’s + 90’s. Networking by nature is a lot of smoke and mirrors, but when you add the bullshiters in the mix, it gets to be a job just to filter the real from the time-wasters.

When it comes down to getting things accomplished (whether it be work or just a good time)people are breaking out of the club/event networking experience and creating smaller more concentrated events with people that would enjoy each others presence.

Our own Bevy Smith has created quite a buzz with her “Dinner With Bevy” series that mixes Fashion execs with Heavy Hitters of the Music industry.

Bevy says…“I would be with my fashion people and bring up an artist, that would be multi-platinum, and they wouldn’t know them. So I said.. well you should meet them!” she added “Its about having the right people in the room.”

Her latest Dinner for Swizz Beatz and Industry Boss Sylvia Rhone was held in the Wine Room at Freemans. [This exceedingly low-profile restaurant materialized at the end of a nondescript Lower East Side alley unknown to even the most intrepid hipster.-new york mag]

Beverly Smith is by far one of the most amazing people I've ever witnessed! And a a visionary to boot! HA! Take that WORLD! You'll see this boss lady, not only giving commentary on the latest style trends, but also writing spectaular, thought provoking pieces ranging from politics to body image. Forge on Bevy, the world needs your ideas, vivacity and wisdom.

Muhammad, as always, thank you for bringing new ways to do business to the forefront in such candid splendor.
