21st Century Leaders

This week 21st is in the ATL capturing a leadership camp for high school students facilitated by our education guru and Book columnist Nina Packer for CNN and 21st Century Leaders(no relation to the Hustle).

The camp takes a very diverse group of kids and teaches leadership skills, and professional development with the assistance of CNN talent and executives. It's an amazing experience watching the kids learn and the professionals learning from the kids.

This sounds like a great oportunity for the youth and looks like a light of hope for the future of this planet.

Greeting,
My name is Lakeem Winborne, I am the Assistant Director of NovelTeens' Ink Journalism Program for high school students. We are doing some similar things with students in Washington, DC. The Program is housed at Howard Universities and a major portion of our program is dealing with Hiphop. As a fellow FAMU graduate I'm honored to reach out to you and extend an invitation to you to present your story and expertise to our youth. We intend to bring a group of about 50 students and up to 10 staff and shaperones to New York for a Hiphop History Tour and we would love to have you as a part of our itinerary. We will be in New York for a day trip mid July ( I am in the process of locking down the date now. )Please let me know if you would like to present to the youth while we are on our tour. I can be reached @ Y.O.U.R. Community Center 202.291.3034 starting June 25 I can also be reached @ HU School of Communications Newsroom 244 202.806.5158 or email lwinborne@yahoo.com.
