Brenda Flanagan of MY9 News did an investigation on Trojan Magnums with Harlem Entrepreneur, Video Producer & Director Choke No Joke.
"We went to several other stores to find out that they also had the fakes from the Bronx to Manhattan. Please be aware of where you purchase your condoms because you may by fakes that aren't safe at all. A statement was issued by Trojan saying that these condoms are not the product of Trojan and those who may have used them should consult a physician. Please go to a Pharmacy to purchase condoms to make sure that you are getting the original Trojan brand."
So MY9 suggests the following in identifying the real from the fake.
1.Get your rubbers from a licensed pharmacy or health clinic
2. The Gold Foil, on the real Magnums, is thick and when you fold the corners, they stay folded
3. "The fakes are smaller than the Real Deal"
